Case Study — Drip Feed High Retention YouTube Views on Fiverr

In my case study I found out, that the biggest impact for boosting my YouTube videos with views was by using services that have high audience retention and drip feed combined. Now I can finally rank videos both on YouTube & Google SERP! Here are my results & observations.

Targeting a video with thousands of high retention views within a few days has better results when the video has the natural long term potential of receiving a large number of views. Otherwise the “ranking signal” doesn’t look natural, and also in my experience this has less effect on Google Search.

So how to make a natural “view profile” for a video that is less competitive, – well with drip feed views of course. And after looking around for ever, I discovered that while high retention services are abundant, drip feed seems virtually non existent, except on Fiverr. The popular marketplace for services starting from just $5.

Below are the results after testing two such gigs with two of my videos.

Note: These videos were aged, and already had an average of 3000 high retention views, some comments, likes and a couple of backlinks.

The first video had better results and it was for a more competitive keyword. Biggest difference I saw with the views, that it was slower in delivering them. So if you have the patience, the slower service the better can be applied to some cases.

Obviously not every drip feed gig on Fiverr is going to be as good. So as always, it’s a good idea to try different ones to see which one suits your needs best. But undoubtedly this can be a successful SEO technique for many.
